[FedNet Theme for Windows 95]

This is a theme for Microsoft Windows 95 Plus that creates a Federal Network right on your desktop! After a couple of ST themes came out, without any consistency in either icons or sounds, I decided to make my own, the way I would like it. For me, that's submerging my computer into the glitz of life in the Federation of the 24th Century - the startup screens, the icons, the sounds, everything should work like the systems in the movie. The main screen depicts the M.I. landing on Big K - one of the most well-known FedNet broadcasts. The background is available in both 1024x800 and 800x600 and there is even an additional background without a transmission image for those of you who like your desktops clean. The sounds are all sampled from the DVD version of the movie at 44kHz. Depending on the event, they are either mono or stereo, 8 or 16 bit. However, all the sounds are available as 16 bit 44kHz stereo WAVs should you require them. The four basic icons are naturally 256 colors. This theme pack also includes log-on and log-off screens for you to change manually. There is information available on how to do this.

[FedNet Skin for WinAmp]

This skin is created for WinAmp 1.7 or above. The basis for the buttons (which were built and rendered from scratch using Photoshop 3.0.5) is the school console which Johnny Rico and Carmen Ibanez use to find out their math scores. It features perfectly round chrome keys set in a grey lusterless base. The main screen is taken from the same system (which is also used by the Mobile Infantry) and features white Steel font on a clear blue background with highlights in yellow. The Mobile Infantry / Federation logo is prevalent throughout the skin, both in the title bar, the volume controls and embossed in the lower right corner.
